Embodied Rhythms: A Journey of Self-Discovery through Dance and Mindfulness

  • 1006 Manhattan Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11222 (map)

Join us for a two-hour workshop featuring guided dance and movement exploration centered around our awareness of emotions residing in our bodies. This transformative experience is led by Amélie Gaulier (she/her, white-bodied), a Body-Mind Centering® practitioner, Somatic Movement Therapist, member of ISMETA, and mindfulness instructor and coach. Through journaling, embodied listening, and storytelling, this workshop will delve into the art of slowing down and the practices of self and collective care.

Participants will be gently guided by Amélie to tune into the rhythms of their bodies, allowing them to authentically express their stories with curiosity and playfulness. All levels of experience are welcome, from the introvert to the extrovert; everyone will discover their own personal space with kindness. Come and embrace the journey of self-discovery through movement and connection.

Please wear comfortable clothes and bring water. Mats and props are provided for guests to use during the workshop. No refunds.
